If someone asked you to describe a ghost, you’ll probably answer: Ghosts are scary, ugly and vengeful. If that is the case for you, don’t worry because two girls from Bristol, England will make you change your definition of ghosts.

Laura Cox and Lize Meddings are the owners of the cute and colorful artworks that are known as: The Sad Ghost Club. It started as a comic drawn by Lize and then it became a huge supportive online community to people who are sad and lonely.

After the comic got the attention of several people, Lize kept drawing more comics that deals with handling sadness, making friends and mainly just learning how to appreciate yourself. Eventually, her friend Laura got involved and that is where everything literally started.

Now, the two doesn’t only draw comics but they also offer tees, stickers, journals, patches and postcards which are all available worldwide. (You can find their shop here.)

The Sad Ghost Club is a club for anyone who’s ever felt sad or lost. It’s the club for those who don’t feel like they’re part of any other club.

The club’s primary goal is to spread positive awareness of mental health by collaborating with young artists or mental health charities and facilities. Many people from all over the world find their works as a helpful tool in facing their problems and mental health issues.
